She was born on December 29, 1922 in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Simon Perez and Teresa Aponte. She went to be with Our Heavenly Father on July 29, 2014 in Seattle, Washington. The final four years of her life were spent at Columbia Lutheran Home in North Seattle, where she was provided wonderful care by their staff.
Lola obtained her nursing degree in Ponce, PR, and worked many years for the Department of Health in their family planning division. In 1984, she moved to Seattle to be with her daughter and her son-in-law. Lola was actively involved int he raising of her two granddaughters, and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughter ( Lourdes Lind Reymore), son-in-law (Doug Reymore), granddaughters (Rebecca Gonzales and Raelene Reymore), grandson-in-law (Jerrod Gonzales), niece (Rita Pomareda), her grand-niece (Graciela DeFraia), and her grand-nephew (Gabriel Pomareda), all currently living in th e Greater Seattle area.
