Donna will be remembered for kindness, sense of humor, creativity, devotion to her family, and generosity. Upon the birth of her daughter, she retired from a successful career at North Seattle Community College but continued to touch the lives of many through her part-time work at the Edmonds School District, and later volunteer service. Throughout her life, she was an unwavering supporter of animal rights.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Madison Strader Arcangeli and son-in-law Paul Arcangeli.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Bernice and Max, as well as her brother, Max (“Butch”) Schliewe, Jr.
A graveside interment will be held on 18 June at 10am at Acacia Memorial Park & Funeral Home (14951 Bothell Way NE, Seattle, WA 98155). Family and friends are invited to attend and share memories.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Whidbey Animals Improvement Foundation, in honor of Donna.
