Later, she worked in London and then she joined the Army where she met her future husband Bert. The family emigrated to the US in 1958 and lived in Evanston Wyoming for several years. While there she worked for JC Penney and actually knew Mr. Penney. She was the first female Junior soccer coach in the state. She worked at Peter Kirk Elementary School and was a crossing guard. She was very involved in her church, directing the flower ministry and was on the altar guild at St. Johns for many years. She is survived by her two children Adrian and Simone, two brothers, three grand children, three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews in England and Australia. A memorial service will be held at St. Johns in Kirkland on May 30 at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Northwest Harvest. http://www.northwestharvest.org/Donate.htm
