

Dorothy passed away peacefully July 6th in Bellevue, WA, at age 101. Born in Grandview, WA, Dorothy was the middle one of three daughters. The family moved to Seattle when the girls were young. After graduating Seattle Lincoln High, she moved to San Francisco to work for Civil Service. In 1944 she married George Williams; following his US Navy service, they settled in Seattle raising three children. Dorothy was widowed in 1980.
In 1989 she married Jack Morton, and they made their home in Edmonds. Following retirement from Shoreline School District, Dorothy enjoyed more time with family, friends and neighbors, travel, boating, Bridge, and her P.E.O. Chapter. In 2013 she moved to Brittany Park Retirement Community in Woodinville making new friends and wonderful memories.
Dorothy was predeceased by son John Williams (1971), husband George Williams (1980), second husband Jack Morton (2001), and sibling (Esther) Sr. Christine Greenslade.
Dorothy is survived by sister Eileen Strickland, Seattle; daughters Eileen Estes, Renton, and Linda (Shane) Brooks, Stevensville, MT; grandchildren John Williams Jr, Payson, AZ, Andrea Stevenson, Lynnwood, and Julianne (Dan) McKeown, Snohomish; step-grandchildren Jennifer (Rob) Oglesbee, Duvall, and Jason Estes, Solana Beach, CA; five great grandchildren and many extended family members.

A Memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, August 7 at 1:30 pm, at Acacia Memorial Park & Funeral Home, Seattle. Private inurnment at Acacia.
