Other survivors include Lucinda, Ed's sister-in-law, niece, and nephews, Meloney, Dexheimer, Paul Bagley, and Stephen Callow. Great nieces and nephews are Kayla, Samantha, Briana, Lillian, Alexandra, and Elijah.
Ed was a member of the Burien Elks Lodge #2143 for 42 years, starting at the Auburn Elks Lodge, which was disbanded.
He was also a member of the Here & Now project, a non-profit community group to connect and support people with spinal cord injuries and other mobility disabilities in the Pacific Northwest.
Ed was also a faithful member of King of Glory Anglican Parish in Auburn, serving on the Vestry.
His ashes will be inurned at Forest Lawn Cemetery near his parents and grandparents graves.
