I am so sorry for your loss.  My family lived on Robinhood Lane with Ed's family.  Ed, Bill, and Dave ran around with my sister Kathy, brother, Louie and myself.   I only found out of Ed's passing as I heard about Arnold's.  Know that you and your family are in my prayers.

Ed was an amazing friend of mine during the 1970s.  We both graduated together from the same high school.  In my junior year he was in 2 of my classes that I was struggling with.  He noticed my situation and volunteered to help me understand the processes more.  I didn’t know him very well at the time, but I accepted his offer.
And I was so glad I did.

He helped me in so many ways with chemistry, algebra, and a love for playing chess.  His willingness and patience to teach me basically got me through high school with passing grades.
How I admired him as I got to know him and his wonderful family in Ohio.
And we were great friends frequently hanging out together throughout the 70s drinking a beer,  camping out, playing chess, or even watching The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show on tv.   
He was the only person I knew who loved to laugh and had a bigger smile then me.

Please accept my condolences for your loss.  But I just want you to know how much he impacted my life for the better.

Ps. I am so sorry this is late.   I just found out about Ed’s passing on 7/25.


I've been at F5 for a long time now - and Ed's help and guidance were there from the first day to the last.  His good - but sometimes cynical -  humor got me through a lot of complicated situations, and made what's sometimes a difficult job for each of us a lot more fun.  

It's such a shame that he wasn't able to have that time to just enjoy and goof off.  He'll be missed by everyone.

We lost a great colleague and friend at F5.  Know that he was a great person to work with and always supportive of his team and friends. I will miss him dearly.

So sorry for his Family, 
He was so looking forward to having time to Live!   We had lunch that thursday, and he still out walked me!  Ge was the  youngest "Old  Man"   I knew, in heart and mind!


Gone too soon..... I had the opportunity to interface with Ed over the past 2 years through work.  Ed was always a pleasure to work with and willing to help assist in any way he could.  We didn't get much time to discuss non-work related items but I know he loved to taking cross country trips on his motorcycle and was planning to increase his travels once he retired.   



Gone too soon. Ed was a wonderful brother-in-law.  Very generous and always smiling.  I will miss his visits to Ohio.  My heart breaks for Michelle and Laura.  RIP Ed.

Ed, you will be missed by so many.  My son, David, is one who will miss you so much.  I only got to share time with you a few times but you will always remain a good friend in my memories.  Rest in peace, Ed.
