Eliane, our loving mother, passed away November 17. She would have turned 90 in six days. Born in Algeria, she met husband Albert during World War II when he was stationed in her hometown of Oran. They married and she waited until the end of the war to come to America by ship through Ellis Island and flew to Seattle reuniting with Albert. They were married 53 years until his passing. She loved to re-read his many letters until her last days.
They raised 3 children keeping busy with all their activities. Eliane was very involved with her church, enjoyed sewing and knitting, creating family dinners and wonderful French desserts which she learned from her father, a baker. She loved traveling the globe with Albert.
Eliane is survived by Terry(Carla), Alan(Joyce), Dorothy West(Daryl), her brother Alain Quinto and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday, November 22 at 10:00 AM at St Brendan Catholic Church 10051 NE 195th St., Bothell, WA.
