

Elizabeth Anne Yuodelis (Nan), mother to Christine, Robert, Teresa, Joan and Gayle, passed away on August 19, 2024 exactly 11 years after the passing of her beloved husband Ralph. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home surrounded by family. She is survived by her sister Gale, 5 children,14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Known for her kind and generous nature, Nan will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She would want to be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life and not the sadness of her passing.
Nan was born on May 31, 1934 to Henry and Elizabeth Lysne, in Whitelaw, Alberta. She was valedictorian of her high school class in 1952 and then went on to attend the University of Alberta where she attained a degree in education. During her first year as an elementary school teacher, she met her future husband Dr. Ralph Yuodelis DDS during a routine trip to the dentist. In 1962, Ralph and Nan moved from Edmonton, Alberta to Seattle to raise their family and make it their home for over 60 years. Some of her favorite pastimes included bridge, golf and cooking for family and friends, all of which she mastered.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 9am Friday September 13 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church located at 12600 84th Avenue NE, Kirkland, WA followed by the placement of her urn at Acacia Memorial Park & Funeral Home located at 14951 Bothell Way NE, Seattle, WA at 10am. A Celebration of Life reception will be held at 12pm Friday September 13 at the Inglewood Golf Club located at 6505 Inglewood Rd NE, Kenmore, WA.
