She was born to the late Adolf and Marie Turk on September 4, 1929. Trudy was married to the late Egon Walter Wenzel on August 3, 1952. Trudy and Egon owned and operated Wenzel’s Bakery in Bergenfield, NJ. She was also actively involved in volunteering for many years and was a dedicated member of the Legion of Mary, St. Margaret’s Catholic Church, Bel Air, MD. She was very active and loved being outdoors. Trudy and Egon were avid skiers and sailors. Family and friends were Trudy’s love and joy.
Trudy is survived by her two daughters, Karin E. Wenzel (Lubbock, TX) and Diane S. Williams and her husband Richard (Bel Air, MD); her three grandchildren Yvonne M. Harmon and her husband Chris (Burien, WA), Dyanne E. Zachman (Arcata, CA), and William N. Zachman and his wife Stephanie (Longwood, FL); her three great grandchildren Serene A. Wenger (Arcata, CA), Sebastian A. Harmon (Burien, WA) and William “Liam” Zachman (Longwood, FL). She also leaves behind a lot of caring relatives and friends.
