Gloria Blossom Dawson was born to Charles and Florence (Corinthwaite) Dawson where she grew up in Seattle Wa and attended Queen Anne High. She worked for Sea First National Bank several years, met Harold Welch, a Boeing Engineer then moved to Bellevue sharing much joy in their marriage.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her bothers, Jack and Charles, and her husband, Harold. She is survived by her children, Sharon Welch or Port Hadlock, Wa and Michael Welch of Bellevue Wa as well as a bounty of friends and family who adored her. For the last 20 years of her life, Michael returned home dedicating his energy and time to his Mother bringing happiness and laughter in her remaining years.
Gloria died peacefully at home with family by her side at the age of 99. A celebration of her life will take place on Monday October 25 at 11am at the Acacia Memorial Park and Funeral Mausoleum 14951 Bothell Way NE Seattle Wa.
