

Gordon W. Hubka passed away on April 27, 2014, at his Bothell, Washington residence. He was born in Seattle, Washington to William Rinker and Thelma Louise (Wright) Hubka. He faithfully served our country in the United States Army.
Gordon W. of Seattle and Gloria E. Christopher of DeSoto were married by Lutheran Minister, Carol H. Bensane, at Zion Lutheran Church on December 20th,1957 in Seattle, Washington at 8PM. George was 23 and Gloria was 21 years old. Their marriage was witnessed by W.L. Hubka and Marian J. McKay. He leaves behind his best friend, love of his life, and wife of 56 years; Gloria Hubka. Gordon is also survived by his son, Stu Hubka; daughters, Jan Bottger and Sharon Swan; grandchildren, Brandie, Derek, Dan, Annette, Alicia; many loving extended family and friends.

Visitation services were held from 12PM-2:30PM on Friday, May 2nd, 2014 at Acacia Funeral Home Visitation Suite, 14951 Bothell Way NE, Seattle, Washington 98155 followed by Graveside Interment Services at 3PM. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service was held at Acacia Funeral Home Chapel at 3:30PM on Saturday, May 3, 2014 followed by a time of continued sharing and fellowship in Acacia's Reception Hall.
