Although I hadn't talk to Stu in a while, I was very shocked and saddened to hear of his death. I am wishing all of his family and friends comfort during this difficult time.

Stu was my good friend in High School.  We did a long list of good and bad things back then.  We had not been in touch for 30 years then thru the magic of Facebook we were back in contact and it was like no time had really passed.  I will miss our friend Stu.

I saw Stu this past Thanksgiving. He looked great and it was so nice to see him and talk. And he made an absolutely killer homemade pumpkin pie. He was a smart, funny, warm soul - well liked and a genuine good guy. My husband Stefan and I were always glad to see him and we are so saddened that he was taken so young. I'm thankful Garrett and Lilly introduced us all. May he rest in peace, and may his family be comforted. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I will miss my big brother, Stu.  We had grown apart and close many times over his 50 years, but in the last 6 months of his life, we were in a close phase.  I'm very glad for this.  It gave me great joy to be with the rest of my family earlier this week and to get a bit closer to his 3 wonderful sons.  KC Friends of Stu - We will try to have a gathering this spring or summer and see if one or more of his kids can make it out to meet you all.

This is Stu's little brother Chris. I will post more information concerning donations and the Kansas City gathering later. And, of course, more about Stu.

I met Stu at 18 years old. My husband's best friend, roommate in college and Best man in our wedding over 30 years ago.  I am thankful Stu called Rick last week.  He is watching down over his 3 sons he loved so much.  STU WE LOVE YOU - and you will be missed.

Stu once told me he said the Lord's Prayer every night.  He was a good and honorable man.  His three sons were his pride and joy.  He will be missed by many.
