Surrounded by family and friends, Karen passed away peacefully in her childhood home in West Seattle, following a year-long battle with cancer that she faced with courage, dignity, and faith. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Don and Trudy Higgins, and is survived by her sons Dustin, Trevor, and Tanner Lloyd, her brothers Gary and Craig Higgins, nieces Rebecca and Lindsay, nephew Ryan, and numerous extended family members. Karen was a faithful servant of God, a devoted mother, and a valued employee and merchandise manager at Jo-ann Fabric.
