Kathleen Frances Russell, aged 69, passed away peacefully at home on February 20, 2020. Kathleen lived in Seattle her entire life and was happily married to her devoted husband, Larry Wall, for 41 years. Kathleen was a successful business owner and entrepreneur including publishing posters, books and instructional music chord charts. She was a creative artist and avid reader of books. Affectionately known as Lady K, her network of friends reached far and wide.
Kathleen was born on March 21, 1950 and graduated from the University of La Verne. After graduation she worked in the family business, AA Sales and American Arts & Graphics. In 1977 she met her future husband Larry at an industry trade show in San Francisco and were married in 1978. They later established Walrus Productions by combining their last names, Wall and Russell.
Kathleen was dialysis patient for the last 16 years and was an inspiration to all with her courage, strength and smile. She bravely fought the battle and ultimately decided it was time to let go.
She had a wonderful life, had a kind heart and touched many people’s lives; no doubt there will be a void for those left behind.
Kathleen’s last message to all who loved her is:
“I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times, laughing times and bright sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun with happy memories I leave when my life is done.”
