

Kathleen (Kathy) Dorothea McGill of Edmonds, passed away surrounded by family at Swedish Edmonds on Saturday, February 6th, 2016. She was 71 years old. She was born in Seattle, Washington on August 24th, 1944 to William Arthur McGill and Kathleen (Kay) McGill, the 3rd child of five.
She is survived by her son Rob Kearney and wife Jennifer of Edmonds and daughter Alexandra Thomas of Lake Tapps. She has 4 grandchildren she loved dearly – Brooke, Cody, Jillian, and Ryder. She is also survived by Sister Donna Miller (Jack); Brother William (Bill) McGill (Vicky); Sister Karen Irwin (Joe); and many, many loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Son Michael O’Brian; Daughter Stephanie Kearney; Sister Sue McGill; Mother Kathleen McGill; and Father William McGill.
Kathy was loved and well known as “Frosty” for many years while Christmas caroling with her family’s group, “Bill’s Meaning of Christmas.” She most enjoyed her time with family and celebrating the holiday season. She was compassionate, caring, a little blonde, and always had a smile to greet you with.
Christmas won’t be the same without Frosty and our lives won’t be the same without you.
