Born on May 24, 1938, in Kampong Cham, Cambodia, Kim was the beloved son of Kim Hoy Hap and Hok E San and the eldest of three siblings. He was a devoted brother to Kim Hy and sister Kim Ly. From an early age, he carried strong values of family, resilience, and dedication that guided him throughout his life.
Kim was a loving and devoted husband, sharing 62 beautiful years of marriage with his wife, Chheng Uon Ho. Together, they built a life centered on love, strength, and unwavering commitment to their family.
He was a proud and caring father to his children:
Chanthavy, Thida, Ted, and Sokha.
His greatest joy was being a grandfather to Jonathan, Landon, Piper, and Quinn.
He treasured every moment with them and was deeply proud of each of them.
