Kristian Michael Beitzel
December 24, 1991 – June 11, 2020
Kristian was welcomed into the world on December 24, 1991 by his parents Georgia and Glen Beitzel, and his big sister Brandi Phillips. Kristian was born in Seattle and raised in White Center.
Kristian attended Highline High School in Burien where he played on both the Bearcats football and SW baseball teams. Kristian was a member of the championship team during his last year with the Bearcats.
He loved sports and later went on to play semi-pro football for the Renton Ravens. Even after his time in the Ravens, he stayed active in the sport through fantasy football. Kristian worked in the hospitality industry, most recently as a Supervisor for the Sea-Tac Hilton. As busy as he was he set himself, and recently achieved, his goal of completing his GED.
When Kristian was not tossing a football around, you’d find him under the hood of one of his many cars. Or, hiking in the mountains with his friends and his dog Sasha.
Most of all, we will miss Kristian’s laughter and his sense of humor. His smile could light up any room. He loved to make silly jokes about his friends but they didn’t mind because they knew that he was just teasing.
Kristian’s laughter was stilled, far too soon, at his family home on June 11, 2020
Kristian leaves behind family; parents Georgia and Glen Beitzel, his sister Brandi Phillips, grandmother Clara Sias and his many friends. All of whom would give anything to hear him call out- “Must be nice!” just one more time.
