Lee Ashraf El-Masry, Camel, 40, passed away Thursday May 12th in his home in Maple Leaf. Camel was born December 20th, 1975 in Illinois. He was raised by his mother Mary Little who nurtured his unique, artistic spirit. Together they had many adventures before settling in Washington State. At the age of 20 he met his soul mate, Tawnya. Together they welcomed their son Demytrius a few years later in 1998. Camel lived life with bright shining love and passion. He brought laughter and fun everywhere he went. He spent the rest of his life mastering assorted art styles and mediums, jumping from hobby to hobby, and creating beautiful and unique pieces. His art lives all over the world in many forms including tattoo, paint, crochet, glass, even having his work included in a gallery in Montreal. Ash was many things throughout his life, but most importantly he was an amazing husband and the perfect father. He is survived by his mother, Mary Little, his wife, Tawnya El-Masry, his son, Demytrius El-Masry and many, many others whose lives he touched. We will carry him in our hearts forever.
