Marion Esther Waddell Bronkema, born January 2, 1917, passed away at her home in Cle Elum, WA on December 21, 2010 at the age of 93. She graduated from Cle Elum High School, Class of 1935. She worked as a waitress and as a clerk and purchaser for Maries Clothing, Pardinis, and Crutchers. She also owned and operated the Cottage Cafe. She was a member of the F.O.E. Auxiliary and helped at the Cle Elum Senior Center. Marion is survived by her husband, Ted Bronkema, daughters Cathie Bator and Cheryl Starcevich, sister Edith Brigden, granddaughters Shalyn Cornell and Cari Starcevich. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Waddell, and her parents, Harry and Catherine Coburn.
