

1935 – 2025
With love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Nestor Magalona Sr., a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who passed away peacefully on February 14, 2025, at the age of 90.
Born in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, Philippines, Nestor’s determination and intellect led him to become a full scholar, high school valedictorian, summa cum laude graduate of Araneta University, and pursue a Master’s in Horticulture at the University of Hawaii. He went on to build a successful career in agricultural sales, working for Esso Fertilizers and Chemicals, Planters Products Inc., Warner Barnes & Co., and Jardine Davies Inc. Rising through the ranks, he became a marketing manager before retiring and migrating to the U.S. in 1996.
Nestor found joy in playing the piano and ballroom dancing, bringing music and movement into the lives of those around him. He cherished time with family, creating lasting memories through travel, sports, and storytelling. His wisdom, integrity, and love has touched the lives of his four children, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving family and many friends who will forever cherish his memory.
A funeral mass celebrating his life will be held on March 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony Parish, located at 416 South 4th Street, Renton, WA 98057.
