

With profound sadness and deep gratitude for her remarkable life, we announce the passing of Noreen Raymond Frink, affectionately known as "Yogi," on November 29, 2024, in Seattle, Washington. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, at the age of 85.
Born on June 11, 1939, in Seattle, Washington, to Norah and Lloyd Raymond, Noreen lived a life rich with family, friendships, and passions that inspired all who knew her. She was predeceased by her beloved parents and her sister, Lloys.
Noreen is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Phillip "Fritz" Frink, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and adventure; her daughter Laurie; her son Lloyd and his wife Janet, along with their children Ethan, Elliott, Miles, and Kyle; her daughter Becky and her husband Joe, and their children Josh and Celia. She is also lovingly remembered by her niece Kristen Carlsson Planchich, her nephew Michael Carlsson, and a wide circle of dear friends and admirers.
A woman of extraordinary kindness and curiosity, Noreen's passions centered around travel and photography. She had a gift for capturing the beauty of the world through her camera lens, photographing flowers, wildlife, and people with a perspective that won her multiple awards. From trekking in Nepal to exploring East Africa on safari, Noreen's photography was a reflection of her adventurous spirit and her profound connection to the world around her.
Noreen’s warmth, creativity, and generosity touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a proud alumna of Forest Ridge, Saint Nicholas, Connecticut College, and the University of Washington, where she was an enthusiastic member of Pi Beta Phi. Her contributions to her community were many, including her memberships in the Seattle Garden Club, the Sunset Club, the Committee of 33, and the Seattle Tennis Club.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Noreen's angel caregivers, Hana Hefa and Ada Vercher, whose compassion and kindness enriched her final years.
A celebration of Noreen's life will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the Seattle Tennis Club. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather, share stories, and honor the memory of a woman who brought so much light and joy into the world.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to consider a donation to the Medic One Foundation or the Norah Raymond Endowment at Seattle Children’s Hospital, organizations close to their hearts, in memory of Noreen.
Noreen “Yogi” Frink lived a life filled with love, curiosity, and beauty. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.
