Norma was the valedictorian of the Bellingham High School Class of 1939, and graduated with honors from Western Washington Uuniversity. She played on the university basketball team and was captain of the debate Club.
Norma married her high school sweetheart, LeRoy O. Larson, in 1942. They were happily married for over 65 years before his passing in 2008.
Norma is survived by her two sons Keith L. and Mark A. (Elizabeth), four grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Norma taught elementary school before getting married. She worked at the Boeing Company during WWII, and later she worked for Seattle First National Bank in their Trust Dept. during the 70’s. Norma enjoyed sewing, baking, playing the piano, the NBA and pinochle parties.
