Patricia Wade Thomas passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 surrounded by her family who loved her deeply. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. We have lost our compass but she imparted to us what is necessary for each of us to complete our individual journey.
Patricia was born on November 14, 1924 in Seattle, WA to Clifford and Ella Wade. She graduated from Queen Anne High School and was employed by Shell Oil Company. In 1947, she married Marion E. "Curly" Thomas, whom she described as her biggest supporter, a true partner, a loving husband, and most importantly, a good and dear man. They had four children and were married 60 years until Curly's death in 2007. The family moved to Bellevue in 1964 where Patricia resided until her death.
Patricia is survived by her four children Suzanne (Dan) Harris, Spencer (Bernice) Thomas, Matthew (Mary) Thomas, and Roger (Rita) Thomas. She was also blessed with three wonderful grandchildren Jacob, Kyle and Alea.
Patricia spent many mornings enjoying breakfast at Chace's Pancake Corral. She used to say it wasn't just the food that brought her in but the fun-loving staff that made her feel so welcome. Our family would like to thank each of you for so many years of smiles and laughter. You were always the brightest part of her day!
A private family service was held.
