Paulette grew up in France, she was the 5th of 6 children born to parents Therese and Rene.
Paulette met her future husband, William, at a dance for military personnel, which took place in her hometown, toward the end of WWII. It was love at first sight. William returned to his hometown of Seattle at the end of the war. Paulette joined him in Seattle and they were married on January 11, 1947. Later that year their son Bill was born. Five years later their daughter Francine was born and their family was complete.
Paulette enjoyed the opera, ballet, fashion, fashion shows, music, cooking, gardening and traveling to France to visit family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband William, parents Therese and Rene and her 5 siblings: Andree, Germaine, Raymond, Marcel and Suzanne. Paulette is survived by her children Francine (George Gee) and Bill (Claudia), grandchildren Ashley (Fiance Evan) and Joshua Greenway, and her beloved "grand kitty" Jodi, as well as many nieces and nephews in both France and the United States. She will be deeply missed by all and dearly remembered by everyone who knew and loved her.
