Rakesh had a great wit and I had many laughs with him. He met me in a back brace after my post back surgery and didn’t care. Rakesh was open minded and I remember him always speaking highly of his parents.

I just had a warm thought about dear Ricky.  He died way too young and I know it must still hurt so much.  But I remember how Ricky would be the party energy at the sleepovers - Anil and I would come and spend the weekend with Bebu and RIcky!   SO much fun we all had watching David Carradine in Kung Fu or Bruce Lee or Star Trek the original series.   Some New Year's Eve nights as well when we actually got to stay up till midnight watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang or Its a Mad Mad Mad Mad world    I miss Ricky very much and just wanted to convey that somewhere - here for whomever reads.  love, ashok

Hello all, i never met Rick but i was always amazed by his work and it sure spoke tons about the great man he was. His work in producing musical art and delivering it for us all is something that needs mentioning. I am thankful to him for being that person producing the soundtrack to our lives and to this day. Sad to hear he is no longer with us but just needed to pay my respects. 

I met Rakesh right after I had back surgery. I was in a back brace at a bar in Beverly Hills  he still asked me out. I went on to know him for a number of years. I knew him to have a great sense of humor, compassion and I made him laugh. His intelligence and wit I will always remember. My prayers go out to his family. 

Ric was truly a great guy I hung out with him and Raj  in lake City  long live the banned zone.  I am lost what I should say. I remember playing midnight bb  at lake City school. I remember band rehearsals  I miss those days.

Still miss you Rickie and think of you so often.

I just found out about Rick when I read the article in the Times about Temple of the Dog.  Those of you who know me know how I felt about Rick. I will always love you Rick and extend my heartfelt sympathy to Raj and his parents.  Farewell sweet one.

I moved away from seattle and just found out about Rick. So Sad. I met him when I was just a young 21 year old kid in 95, and Rick was very kind and friendly with me while everyone else in the "scene" at the time were overly concerned with their image and and whether or not they were becoming famous....and would all dismiss me like I didnt exist, but not rick, he didnt treat me like that because he never cared if people thought he was "cool" RIP you beautiful person!

Rick was one my favorite people. He was kind, intelligent. Walking through Seattle with Rick was walking with someone special; everyone loved him. His impact will remain. That cracked tooth smile will forever be in the minds of those that knew and loved him

So saddened by this news. I lived in Seattle 43 years ago when I met you and remember you had 2 boys. The memories of my early settlement has always been a part of me.
