Richard was born in Roxburg, Massachusetts in 1932 and was raised by his grandmother in Dorchester. He joined the service at seventeen and became a medical corpsman who fought in Korea and Vietnam.
He graduated as an RN from Shoreline Community College in 1971. He then worked at the Veteran’s Hospital with his wife, Barbara, also an RN. They were married 42 years.
Richard was a kind man, full of compassion and humor. He bore his Dementia with patience and in his own style.
He passed away at 4am, December 18th with his wife at his side. Much Love and wonderful memories go with him.
Services will be at The Sanctuary Church, 5508 NE 193rd St., Lake Forest Park, WA 98155 at Noon on December 31st.
