Ruth Ludington (Dougherty), Loving mother and grandmother passed away January 14, 2012 at age 98. Born in Sioux Falls, SD, she came to Seattle as a young child with parents Joe and Ruby Dougherty and brother Woodrow. After retiring from the Seattle School Dist. she enjoyed golf & bridge into her 90’s, travel and her family.
She was predeceased by her husband “Lud” and son David. She is survived by brother Woody Dougherty (Margaret), sister-in-law Marty Victor, son Steve (Connie), Daughters, Jan Berquist (John), Gail Summers (Lee). Grandchildren: Jack, Julie (Berquist), David, Joe, Carie (Ludington), Kelsey, Meghan, Taylor (Summers) Great grandchildren: Cody, Gage and Sage and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be Sat. February 11, 11:30am at Ivar’s Salmon House, Seattle.
