It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sergio Villano, who left this world on December 11, 2025, just shy of his 91st birthday. Born on December 14, 1934, Sergio’s life was a testament to resilience and the enduring spirit of humility.
Sergio is survived by his wife, Conchita and their daughters, Betsy and Luth, and grandchildren. A beloved brother to his 5 sisters and a loving father, he was a beacon of light in the lives of his family. His kindness, patience, and welcoming nature warmed the hearts of all who knew him.
Sergio was a well-respected dentist in the Philippines and a long time Hotel Steward at the Westin Hotel in Downtown Seattle. Despite health challenges early in life, he proved that determination could overcome even the harshest of obstacles.
A devoted fan of the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Mariners, Washington Huskies, and the Seattle Supersonics, Sergio’s love for sports was well-known. His favorite pastimes were spending time with family, dancing, and immersing himself in music. Perhaps his most unique trait was his love for collecting and wearing caps, a hobby that brought him much joy.
Sergio lived by the principle of leading a quiet, humble life. Yet, he found immense joy in meeting new people, always ready with a smile and a handshake. He loved music, often getting up to dance when he could, but he was equally content with quiet moments at home and resting.
A viewing will be held in honor of Sergio on December 29, 2025, at 9 AM, followed by a funeral service at 1230 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery. The burial will take place on December 30, 2025, at 1100 AM at the same venue. We invite those who knew and loved Sergio to attend these services, to celebrate his life and commemorate his legacy.
In the hearts of those he touched, Sergio’s memory will forever be intertwined with kindness, patience, and a welcoming demeanor. His gentle soul and the lessons he bestowed upon us will continue to guide us, reminding us to live quietly, simply, and humbly. Sergio Villano's life may have ended, but his legacy will continue to inspire and comfort us.
