You were such a true friend and sister to me. We met as co-workers and kept our friendship beyond. THANK YOU for the good times. The talks, laughs, hanging out and spending time with family. Family I know this is hard for you and ALL the people that have been apart of Nellie Atlanta life. Yall raised a beautiful and loving and non judging woman. She is such a beautiful soul and I still don’t want to let her go. So many memories came flowing back when she was slipping away. I forgot how much random things we did lunch, outings, trips out of town, birthday celebrations, singing happy birthday to the kids, celebrating with the kids, taking Samiyah in as her God daughter. Showing up to the hospital when I had Skylar just so much. I thought we would have more time. I never envisioned this for us even when I had my cancer scare.  I will miss every conversation ending with I love you and you calling me sissy. I literally have text messages dating back to 2017. 
To the family she was a great 🎁. I love yall and may God continue to bless you and keep you.

I write this with sincere condolences for the loss of a beautiful soul. I was affectionate called LA LA by Shanelle during our adolescence and adulthood. 
Throughout the years life would take us in different directions and when we would talk on the phone it would be for hours.
 I last saw her in Atlanta when I brought her items from Seattle for her wedding day. 
During our youth, because of our upbringing and faith in God, we would pray together on our way to school. Asking God to cover us and are families. 
Are bond began in elementary school and she had a love for the sport of basketball and her favorite basketball player at that time was Shaq. I had a love for doing hair and decor. Even though our journeys took us on different paths it was always a sisterhood, a bond through Christ. 
When my beloved sister Vikki passed away, Shanelle sent flowers, which brought my family comfort. I send endless prayers as your family navigates through this process. 
To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

I’ve worked with Shanelle for about the last three years. She was truly one of the kindest and most selfless people I’ve ever met. I cannot believe that we are waking up in a world without her.

My deepest condolences to all of those who knew and loved her. There is no one who can replace Shanelle and I know she will leave a mark on all of our hearts.

Shanelle won the hula hoop contest! Life will not be the same without you, my friend. To be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord.

Todd and Shanelle were very active in the Classy Couples In Christ marriage ministry. They participated in national marriage week in April 2021, when we were just going back outside from the Covid pandemic. I miss you my friend.

Celebrating your 51st birthday – we showed out as usual and had a great time. I will miss our celebrations and all the times that we hung out just to chat and have lunch or dinner.

Celebrating your 52nd birthday! You did not want to take pictures that day, but we have an awesome time as usual. Nothing like celebrating Shanelle the birthday girl!

September 2017 is when I met Todd and Shanelle at our fifth annual Classy Couples In Christ marriage retreat. That was the start of a great friendship. I still cannot believe you are not with us here; but I am thankful that you are with the Lord.
