

Sharon Kenneally was born in Seattle on August 15th 1939 to Vievna Edwards and Francis Kenneally. She passed away peacefully on February 16th at the age of 86. Sharon was a lifelong resident of West Seattle. Sharon is survived by her sister Sheelah and Sheelah's spouse Mike Szymanski. She is also survived by her friend of 45 years, Debbie Lux.
Sharon retired from King County Engineering Services of Public Roads in 2013 after a distinguished 33 year career. During her retirement, she volunteered at the West Seattle Senior for many years.
Sharon’s warmth , quiet strength and kindness touched all who knew her. Sharon enjoyed the simple pleasure in life such as traveling, being with family and friends, but most of all she loved her Mariners and wouldn’t miss a game.
Sharon was a cat enthusiast who enjoyed the playful antics and comforting presence of her feline companions. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Friday February the 27th. Special thanks to Kline Galland Hospice and Seaview Adult Family Home for their excellent care of Sharon in the last stage of her life. Sharon will be deeply missed by her friends and family.
