Suzanne Kay Fredrickson, 60 years of age, born in Elkhorn, WI February 25, 1951 to Maybelle (Paulson) and Parnell Fredrickson, passed away at the Life Care Center in Seattle, WA Saturday, July 23, 2011. Survived by her son, Krishawn R. Smith of Kent, WA, daughter Brigette A. Smith of Seattle, WA, Michael G Cranney of Issaquah, WA., her partner of 17 years, sisters Joyce A Johnson and Renora M Bowdon of Bellevue, WA, and brother Parnell C Fredrickson of Hayward, WI.
Suzanne graduated from Drummond High School in Drummond, WI in 1969, and attended University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. Suzanne moved from Wisconsin to California as a young woman where she married Raymond B Smith and started a family. She later moved to Bellevue WA where she resided for 23 years. As a volunteer she gave time to the Bellevue Youth Theatre, Boy Scouts and Bellevue Youth Softball League. Suzanne loved life, nature and made all she knew laugh. Suzanne would talk with birds and small wild critters as she fed them out of her hand. Being a music lover, her collection of music was extensive. Her smile brought life to everyone she encountered.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 13 , at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 411-156th Avenue NE, Bellevue, WA 98007 at 2PM. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Solon Springs, WI.
