Tabitha Brooke Anderson, 34, of Seattle, Washington, passed away on August 23, 2026, just three weeks after her 34th birthday. Born in Seattle on August 2, 1992, her life was full of humor that surfaced in unexpected places, stubborn strength, and a spirit that didn’t fit neatly into any box.

She loved animals with a devotion that made perfect sense to anyone who knew her and found comfort in music when she needed grounding. Good food was one of her joys, something she appreciated with an enthusiasm that always felt like its own small celebration.

Tabitha had a spark that showed up in different ways depending on the day: sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, sometimes hilarious, sometimes complicated. She could be sassy, she could be tender, and she could be impossible to ignore. She wasn’t a person who pretended to be anything other than herself, and that honesty was part of her beauty.

Her life included challenges she didn’t ask for. She faced them with a mix of defiance and exhaustion, and even in the hardest moments, she held on longer than anyone could have imagined. Those closest to her called her The Miracle Girl. The people who loved her choose to remember the parts of her that were bright, funny, loving, and, well, uniquely Tabitha — the parts that made her who she was long before the struggle tried to rewrite her story.

She is survived by her mother, Heidi Anderson; her sister, Lindsay, and brother-in-law, Brian; her father, Phil Anderson, and his fiancée, Shelley; her son, Max; Max’s father, Tyler Richardson; and Gayle Richardson and her family, who have lovingly raised Max.

She is also survived by the extended family who played a pivotal role in her life, including Terese Machmiller and her family, Janine Douglas and her family, and her cousin Corey and his fiancée, Laura. Her best friend, Richy, remained a steady and deeply meaningful presence in her life.

Her family will blend their memories and words to honor her in a way that reflects who she truly was: strong-willed, cherished, and deeply loved.
