Toshio Chihara passed away peacefully on May 25, 2014, at the age of 94. Tosh was born in Winslow, WA on January 1, 1920. He served in the Army during WWII, and worked as a civilian for the Army and Navy in Japan for 35 years. He loved to golf and watch football. Tosh is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sue; daughters Barbara (Bob) Hirano and Pauline Chihara, grandsons Steven (Euki) and Michael Hirano, sister Mary (Stan) Tsujikawa and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Tosh’s life is planned for Friday, June 27 at 12:00 pm at Acacia Funeral Home, 14951 Bothell Way NE, Seattle, WA 98155.
