Virginia Vinton was born on Sweethearts Day, Feb. 14, 1924, to William and Katharyne Davis in Seattle. She came to know Jesus as her personal Savior at a young age. Virginia and Clyde Vinton were married in 1943 in San Diego. At the end of World War II they returned to West Seattle, buying land & building a home. Virginia's many volunteer activities included the United Federation of Doll Clubs, Seattle Christian School and Hillcrest Presbyterian Church.
In 1980 Clyde went to be with the Lord. Virginia maintained a cheerful, joyous attitude until God called her home on Sept. 1, 2012. She is survived by three daughters, five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
The family is grateful for the Swedish Medical Center 7th floor Telemetry staff who provided Virginia such gracious & considerate care in her final days, and Dr. John Addison for his care these last few years.
