Very sad to hear about Yelena's (Lane's) passing. I had the opportunity and privilege to know Yelena while attending WWU and I pray the family is blessed with a full heart of Yelena's memory, god rest her soul.

I only knew you for a short period of time but I am heart heavy hearing you have died. I am deeply saddened and send my deepest condolences to your family and friends. You were a generous and sweet soul, you were kind, bright and beautiful in every way.  I wish we could turn back the clock of time and life. I will always remember you and I thank you for how supportive you were to me.
I will always think of you and see you in the coffee shop on the corner. I will always remember your smile.

I  remember during the summer when we were having a goodbye party with our friends that were leaving to Boston you had on a cute woven hat with a pink flower on it , you were so kind and loving.  I will never forget you in my memories and prayers .

Olenka, you brought so much joy to those who knew you. We all shared many great memories from our time in Barvinok, and these will be the means we will continue to know you. You won't be forgotten.

Yelena, the OTD class of 2018 will miss you very much.  We offer the most profound condolences to all of your loved ones.
