

Albert was a beloved son, nephew, godfather, and friend. A graduate of Hackensack High School, he continued his education at the University of Tennessee and Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison. He will be remembered for his quick sense of humor, kind spirit and the meaningful relationships he built throughout his life.
A devoted sports fan, Albert loyally supported the Edmonton Oilers, the Miami Dolphins, the Chicago White Sox and New York Yankees. He also had a deep knowledge of and love for music. Albert was deeply loved by his family, friends, and colleagues and he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Dorothea Whitton; his loving aunt, Adrienne Scotto; his loving uncle Edward Waters, as well as many cousins and dear friends whose bonds deepened over the years until they became like family to him. He was predeceased by his father, Albert Whitton Jr., as well as other cherished family members, who welcomed him into eternal rest.
A prayer service will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in Clifton, NJ with interment to follow.
