

Antonios was born in Analipsis, Greece on February 3, 1933 to the late Sotirios and Giannoula (Shizas) Stathopoulos. In his early life in Greece, Tony moved to Athens where he worked as a tailor. He went on to become a restaurant entrepreneur after moving to America in 1968. He operated Paul’s Diner along-side his two late, brothers, Hristos & Konstantino. He had a great passion for Greek music & cuisine and loved nothing more than sharing his wonderful sense of humor with his friends and family.
He was adored and survived by his loving wife of fifty-two years, Angeliki (Moraitis) as well as his son Soterios, (Lucy, Antonios, Nicolas and Christopher) his son John, (Nicole and Robert Michael) and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing for Antonios will be Thursday, March 30 4:00pm-7:00pm at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Rd, Secaucus, NJ. A Church Service will be held at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church, 818 Valley Rd, Clifton on Friday, March 31 10:00am . Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery 742 Rutherford Ave, Lyndhurst, NJ.
