Aurelio Lugo Jr. 61, of Secaucus, NJ, formerly of Hoboken, NJ entered into rest on Thursday March 11, 2010. Beloved husband of Barbie (nee Francis) Lugo. Cherished son of Aurelio Sr., and the late Carmen Lugo. Devoted father of Richard and his wife Gina, Cynthia Mc Peek and her husband Craig, Evelyn Rivera and Daniel and Amanda Lugo. Loving grandfather of Melanie, Richie and William. Dear brother of Michael, Sonya, Evelyn, John, Alex, James and the late Jacqueline. Aurelio dedicated his life to doing the one thing he loved and that was to serve & protect the people of Hoboken as a Police Offices for over twenty six and a half years retiring as Lieutenant. Aurelio was a member of the Hoboken Board of Education and owned Leo's Bait & Tackle in Hoboken for many years. He was an avid fisherman. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held on Monday March 15, 2010 from 2 PM to 7 PM with a 6 PM Funeral Service at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. Cremation will be private.
