Barbara Peek, aged 84, passed away on February 8, 2026. Born on August 10, 1941, she was a resident of Union City, New Jersey. Barbara worked for the Union City Police Department as an operator for 18 years retiring in 2007.
Barbara was the Devoted mother of; Deborah (Jose) Fernandez, the late David ( Brenda) Peek, the late Dennis peek, Darlene Peek, Dawn (the late Robert) Truscott, Douglas Peek and Daniel Peek. She was the dear sister of Anna Shann, Mary De Geoso and Susan Sandman. Barbara was also the loving grandmother of 11 Grand and 6 Great Grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Leber Funeral Home, located at 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094, on February 14, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A funeral service will take place at the same venue on the same day, from 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
