My heart is broken for the Schoch Family! Bryan was, without a doubt, an Awesome Man! He was a Gentleman and a Gentle Man!! I loved working with him. He always had a huge smile and an easy way dealing with all of the Fire Department paperwork when he was Chief. He was a total Class Act through and through!! He treated each of us in the Finance Department like we each counted!! He was a great friend, as well. We would talk about anything and would wind up laughing by the end of the conversation! 
Bryan ~ Rest easy in God’s arms!! Just know how much you are loved and will be missed even more!! Fly high with the Angels!!

So sorry to hear of Bryan's passing. He served Secaucus and Jersey City as a fire fighter and chief. His family can be very proud of how much he accomplished throughout his short life. Deepest sympathy to the entire family and the Secaucus fire department.

I still can't accept that this is real.  I will always be grateful that I had the chance to work with you and get to know you.   I had the privilege of working closely with you to plan your Chief's party, which gave us a chance to get to know each other quickly.  I always told you that you were one of my very favorite people.   I hope you knew how much I meant it.

I keep seeing the beautiful smile that never seemed to leave your face, and I will remember that forever.

You were a true hero and touched so many people in life and in death.

Rest easy Bryan.
