

He was born on December 6, 1959, in Sant’ Angelo dei Lombardi, Avellino, Italy to Francesco and Filomena Petito (nee Pizzirusso). Carmine immigrated to the United States in 1971, settling in Brooklyn, NY, where he began his journey to building a life in America.
Carmine was the president and owner of CASNP, LLC Building and Contracting, where he was a master carpenter known for his craftsmanship and keen eye for design. He took great pride in his work, creating lasting structures and designs that reflected his passion and dedication.
Beyond his profession, Carmine had a variety of interests that brought joy to his life and those around him. He was an avid gardener, often sharing his harvests with friends and family. He enjoyed making his own wine, grappa, sausage and sauce. His homemade creations were always appreciated by loved ones. Carmine had a lifelong love of sports cars, frequently found taking drives with his children and attending car shows with his friends. He was also known for his humor, always bringing laughter and light to those around him. Carmine lived his life to the fullest, never regretting a moment.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francesco and Filomena Petito. His beloved dog Smokey and cats, Sandy, Jasmine and Cleo.
Carmine is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 32 years, Susan (nee Evans) and his cherished children, Angelica and Nicholas. His brother Pasquale Petito and his wife Maria. His sister, Gerarda Gabriele. His nephew Franco Petito and niece Marisa Petito. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends, as well as his loyal cats, Tabitha and Kashmir.
A visitation for Carmine will be held Friday, February 7 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 8 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Secaucus, NJ. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery North Arlington, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Kinnelon Volunteer Animal Shelter, 2 Kiel Avenue #252, Kinnelon, NJ 07405, an organization that was near and dear to Carmine’s heart.
