Claire B. Rinaldi

February 17, 1928March 20, 2021

Claire Rinaldi (née Troyer), 93, of Secaucus, NJ passed peacefully at home on March 20, 2021. Born in Union City, Claire has been a long-time resident of Secaucus since 1949 when she married her beloved, late husband, Albert Rinaldi. She was a wonderful and compassionate wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Claire also worked at Sears Distribution center for 15 years before retiring. Cooking, crafting and sewing were just a few of her interests. Family and friends meant everything to Claire, enjoying holidays, special occasions, outings with friends and family time. She would always show up to your home with apron in hand, ready to pitch in where needed. “No” was not in her vocabulary, always volunteering to cook, clean, set up, care for and support her family and friends. This special woman will be dearly missed by all who knew her and shared in her life experiences.

Claire was the beloved mother of Teresa Burger and spouse Joseph, Albert Rinaldi and spouse LouAnn. Loving grandmother of Joseph Burger and spouse Nadia, Christopher Rinaldi and spouse Rebecca, Kate Kardos and spouse Joseph , Alanna Thana and spouse Kaon. She was also the great grandmother of Ayden, Khloe and Giana Burger, Claire and Louie Rinaldi, Archer Thana and Oliver Kardos. Sister and aunt to Thomas Troyer, Robert Mello, Rosemarie and Michael Rinaldi and Thomas and John Troyer. May she now be united with her dear husband, sister, cousins, family and close friends.

Services will be private under the direction of the Mack Memorial Home. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Steven Strobert Foundation.

Aunt Claire and Uncle Al were lifelong friends, and more than that, they were like family. Claire was an easy going, outgoing, friendly, loving lady who was always available to lend a helping hand. Those of us who knew her were blessed by her friendship. Sal & Sandy

"Aunt Claire"

As we fondly called Her. Claire and Al Rinaldi were friends at a young age with my Father Salvatore Lucca of Secaucus.

Over the years we would spend many a day at the Rinaldi household playing with Their two wonderful children Terry Lynn and Albie as we called Him.

Times and circumstances change. But I will always remember those wonderful times.

My deepest sympathy,

Jeff Lucca
