Dennis McCaffery

Dennis McCaffery “Joe Webber” passed away on November 14, 2025, at the age of 85. He was born on December 19, 1939 to the late Thomas and Helen (Silva) McCaffery in Brooklyn NY where he lived before moving to Secaucus about 60 years ago. Dennis was a Proud member of The Teamsters Local 560 and a member of The George Heflich Association in Secaucus.

Dennis was married to his loving wife of 40+ years, the late Virginia (VanMinner) McCaffery who passed away in 1999; he was the Cherished father of Dennis McCaffery and his wife Colleen, the late Brian McCaffery, Pam Makarski and her husband Michael, Colleen Santaniello and her husband Mark, and Chrissy McCaffery Rhodes and her husband Scott; Devoted Grandfather of DJ McCaffery and his wife Tonilynn, Jackie McCaffery, Hilary Frassetti and her husband Steve, Michael John Makarski and his wife Abby, Amanda Santaniello and her partner Bjorn Ruud, and Joseph Santaniello and his wife Joelle, Brianna McCaffery; great grandfather of Daniel Frassetti, Nico Marquez, Jackson Makarski, Valentino Marquez, and Giavanna Santaniello; brother of 6 late siblings, Companion of many years to Linda Breen, and his Dog Guinness; as well as many loving extended family members and friends.

A visitation will be held at Mack Memorial Home, located at 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you place a bet in his memory at The Meadowlands Racetrack or Fanduel or a Scratch Off.
