Elaine F. Letizia (nee Bird) 78, of Bristol, CT, formerly of Jersey City, NJ entered into rest on Friday December 31, 2010. Beloved wife of Biagio Letizia. Devoted mother of Colleen Letizia and Mark Williams.Loving Step mother of Rose Burke, Susan Asta and Peter Letizia. Adored Grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Lorraine Bennett, Charles Bird, Michael Bird, Patricia Kelly, Jean A. Murphy, Bernice Caruso and the late Irene Greaves and James, John & Kenneth Bird. Aunt to many nieces & nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 4, 2011 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. The family will gather at the funeral home with their relatives and friends on Wednesday at 11:00 AM for an 11:30 AM Funeral Service. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Elaine may be made to The American Cancer Society.
