Dearest John and family,
Although I know I don't have to praise Elba in any way because you know firsthand how wonderful she was, I wanted to share my fond memories of working with Elba in the Jersey City school system. She had a wisdom beyond her years and was always there to give advice if asked. I also remember going on the Joint Activities boat ride and having a lovely time with her. Our mutual friend was Abe Kendall, who was my parents' attorney. She will be missed, but never forgotten. May she Rest in Peace.
With heartfelt condolences,
Angelica Santomauro and family

Dear John and family,
I am so saddened to read the news of Elba's passing today. Elba and I took so many classes together in college and sat next to each other during the graduation ceremony. We were happy to share that moment together, too. Elba, one of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure to know, may I extend my sincere condolences for your loss.

I have so many wonderful memories that I can't write one here.I'm heart broken! Even though her last email said we would not see one another again on this earth, I refused to believe it.
It's hard to believe that I'll be returning to Jersey City next year and will not see Elba! We owe each other a dinner!!
