Eleanor Kavanagh (nee Brown) 78, of Secaucus, NJ, formerly of Jersey City, NJ entered into rest on Wednesday February 16, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Charles Kavanagh. Devoted mother of Paul Paris and his wife Sandra and Michael Paris and his wife Marylynn. Loving grandmother of Michael Quasarano, Michael, Matt, & Michaela Paris. Dear sister of Mary Kakakyra, Catherine Costigan, Anna Nixon and the late Robert Brown. Eleanor was a former waitress for Plaza Diner in Secaucus for 28 years. Visitation will be held on Saturday evening from 7-9 PM and Sunday from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. The family will gather at the funeral home with their relatives & friends on Monday at 9 AM for a 10 AM funeral mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Eleanor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or The ASPCA.
