Francesca Grieco Salati, 79 of Secaucus passed away peacefully on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck. She was born in Colliano, Salerno, Italy and came to the United States in 1957 settling in Philadelphia. She was a former 52 year resident of Jersey City before moving to Secaucus 3 years ago. She was a seamstress for many years and was a member of the Immaculate Conception R.C. Church in Secaucus. Francesca loved sewing, reading and cooking but most of all spending time with her beloved family. She was the loving wife of the late Eugene A. Salati Jr. for 52 years. She was the loving daughter of the late Cesare and Annunziata Grieco and the beloved sister of the late Giuseppe Grieco. She is survived by her loving children Eugene R. Salati; and her daughter Nancy Gelcich and her husband Casey; also her 2 grandsons Daniel and Stephen Gelcich. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 4 to 8 PM at the Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday October 31, 2018 at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception RC Church 1219 Paterson Plank Rd. Secaucus, NJ. Entombment will follow at the Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to the National Kidney Foundation 30 East 33 St. New York NY 10016.
