Dear friends and family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Fred will be missed by so many!

I worked for Fred in my first job after leaving public accounting back in 1995. It was a great experience that I will never forget and I learned so much because he was so incredibly smart. He was not shy about asking us to produce quality work, which helped shape my commitment to excellence in my own career. Clearly, I could not have gotten very far without people like Fred to influence me: for this I am so thankful.

Rest in peace, Fred.

We all have lost a good friend, work associate, boss, mentor and the quintessential CPA whose integrity to his profession was remarkable. Happily I recall those many Friday "half days" during the summer when he would drive me home on his way to 908. The stop always entailed a refreshment or so at my yacht club, a short walk from home, to start the weekend celebration before continuing on to 908. Fun times and fondly remembered.
He now rests in our memories forever. Tom Shultz

To Judy, family & friends of Fred,

Jerry & I are at a loss of words at just finding out about the passing of Fred. We met Fred in 2007 at Penn State through Jerry's Uncle Don Hartnett when our daughter was a freshman at Penn State. Needless to say, we have shared our passion for Penn State and Penn State football since that day. We didn't get to see him as often as we would have liked, but Fred, and Judy when she was there, never missed an opportunity to stay in touch with us to meet for drinks and to just catch up.

Fred was such a wonderful man, and we are just devastated that he's been taken from our lives and all of yours as well. We are going to miss sharing our love of the Lions and all things Penn State with him.

Rest in Peace, dear Fred!! (Just the sweetest man)

Fred and I worked very closely together during the DWG acquisition. Although I was the IT guy and he was the Finance Guy, he was always there to ensure I was successful.

Thanks Fred and RIP.
