

She was born on October 20, 1929, in Jersey City, NJ. She spent her early years in Jersey City and then moved to Secaucus to raise her family in 1963. While in Secaucus, she was very active in Cub Scouts, Immaculate Conception Church, served as a town crossing guard, and worked at Verizon. In 1986, Helen and her late husband, Walter retired to Bradley Beach where she enjoyed her last 35 years, with her family on the beach, painting, or baking. Helen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and cousin.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter of 61 years, siblings Reverend Robert J. Piatkowski, and Ethel A. Sekelsky. She is survived by her siblings, Arthur Piatkowski and his wife Marie, and Frances Bradley, children Sharon Wlosek, John Wlosek and his wife Karen, Kenneth Wlosek and his wife Heidi, and her cherished grandchildren, Keith and his husband Andrew, Michelle, and Michael Wlosek; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and care-taker Kofi.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, January 8th, 2022 at Mack Memorial Home 1245 Paterson Plank Road Secaucus, NJ from 9 – 10:30 am. A funeral mass will follow at Immaculate Conception (Secaucus, NJ) at 10:45 am. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington will follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Bradley Beach First Aid Squad 725 Main Street, Bradley Beach. Condolences may also be made online at Mack Memorial Home.
