Ines C. Montes DeOca

Ines C. Montes de Oca, age 94, of Secaucus, New Jersey passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024. Ines daughter of Maria and Fernando Chaves was born in a small town near Havana Cuba. She lived many years in Hasbrouck Heights and Hoboken NJ before moving to Secaucus 13 years ago.

Ines was married to her loving late husband, Rogelio (Roy) for 63 years before he passed away in 2018, she is survived by her cherished daughters, Edilia "Dee" Gerrity, Grisel Shock, her husband Walter, & Ruth Santuccio and her husband Salvatore; her devoted grandchildren, Eric, Nathalie, Brittany, Walter, Salvatore, Bernadette, and Olivia; her great grandchildren and a sister Maria Torres; she was pre deceased by her brothers Rene Chaves, and Francisco "Paco" Chaves.

A visitation for Ines will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 3 to 7 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094. A Mass of Catholic burial will occur Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 1219 Paterson Plank Rd, Secaucus, NJ followed by her entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum, 340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ.
